Copyright & Content Removal Policy

This policy explains how we handle copyright complaints about content on Dossier, and how anyone — account holder or not — can ask us to review or remove a published dossier.

1. How dossiers are generated

Dossiers are produced by an AI model that reads web search results and writes an original summary, analysis, and citation list from them — it is not designed to reproduce source text verbatim, and direct quotations are kept short and attributed to their source. Every dossier links back to the original sources it drew from. If you believe a dossier nonetheless reproduces your copyrighted work without permission or beyond fair use/fair dealing, you can request removal below.

2. Requesting removal of your copyrighted content

Send a notice to support@dossier-inteligence.com that includes:

The URL of the Dossier page containing the material (e.g. a /research/... link).
A description of the copyrighted work you believe was reproduced, and where the original is published.
Your contact information.
A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

We'll review the notice and, where warranted, remove or disable access to the reported page. Depending on your jurisdiction this may be handled as a DMCA takedown notice (US), a notice-and-takedown request under the EU's Digital Services Act, or the equivalent process where you're located — we aim to apply the same review regardless of which regime formally applies.

3. Requesting removal for any other reason

Every public dossier page has a "Report this" button for flagging a specific problem (an inaccuracy, an inappropriate subject, a privacy concern, or anything else) directly to us. You can also email support@dossier-inteligence.com with the page URL and the reason. We reserve the right to remove or unpublish any dossier from the public library or from discoverable search results at our discretion, including content that names a private individual, makes an unverified claim about a real person or company, or otherwise violates our Terms of Service.

4. Counter-notice

If your own content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, reply to our removal notice or email us with an explanation. We'll review and may reinstate the page.

5. Repeat infringement

We may suspend or terminate the account of a user whose published research repeatedly draws valid copyright complaints.
